The Coach House Extension was the final work undertaken by Glosford SIPS on the exclusive Bilton Fields development in Rugby, Warwickshire where we also provided 10 new build properties and an office suite.

The original barn was converted 25 years ago to a very high standard and maintained the integral character of the original building.

Glosford were instructed by BoBen Construction to extend the property with an open plan kitchen/ dining area on the ground floor with lobby entrance along with a new principle bedroom and ensuite on the first floor.

Glosford provided the superstructure for the extension which included 172mm SIP external walls and vaulted roof panels which were then clad in a mixture of contemporary materials which perfectly balance against the character of the original barn.

Large glazed openings and oriel windows were incorporated to the design allowing a natural flow between indoor and outdoor spaces whilst ensuring excellent thermal efficiency and airtightness by utilising our SIP system.
