The Vision here was to build a single story Passivhaus in the grounds of a grade II listed house. It was built within the walled kitchen garden of the property.

We devised a cantilevering back stand steel arrangement, complex masonry support and fenestration lintel to accommodate the extremely wide bifold door and parapet stone above.

A network of steel was included to achieve the open plan design plus thermal breaks in all columns and masonry supports.

The property achieved the Passivhaus certification using our SIP system and steel frame methodologies.
