In a strategic Alliance with Universal Learning a specialist provider of Design, Content and Marketing Services for Schools, Glosford recently completed ‘The Pine Cone Development’ a brand new School development in Mansfield.

The site was once the old secondary school that was demolished when the new main Academy building was opened in 2013. The Pine Cone development was named after a cone found under a solitary mature tree that remained on the old site providing a link from the past to present and into the future. The journey from breaking ground to final completion was both challenging and a rewarding process including how Year 9 designed and built another SIP building as part of the project, we created four multi purposes sustainable buildings in the Kingspan TEK system sitting within extensive landscape architecture and the creation and installation of a four tonne oak sculpture as a permanent artwork inspired by the beauty of the pine tree.
